Investigators are looking at whether UT Southwestern, one of the country's leading medical schools, billed the government for services faculty physicians did not actually perform while working at Parkland, UT Southwestern's main teaching hospital, the newspaper said.
Personally, I believe the blog UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital Stories had a little something to do with this latest development. This blog continues, almost on a daily basis, to report billing fraud, and it backs up claims with documentation. This may be a case of UT Southwestern officials hammering the wrong guy. Meanwhile, the UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital Stories blogger continues to post unabated.
When the UPI picks up on a story, there's no turning back.
